13 Random Facts About Kudo Asuka

Yeay, finally i can post about Kudo Asuka, who is my current celebrity crush. Hehe. After posting about many male idol (mostly Johnny’s) i could move on to an actor now. Hehe.

I’m so exicted with Kudo Asuka after seeing him on Ie Uru Ona which aired few years ago. I never knew that he is not only good at acting but also has interesting personality and background. I kinda like his manly yet childsish face and his good boy vibes. I know he doesn’t have many work yet, but i hope he will be more recognized.

So, without further ado, let get to know him!

1. He Entered Entertaiment World

When he was a child, Asuka never thought that he would be an actor. He always wanted to become sport player just like his father. He used to appear on stage play titled “Oliver” when he was on junior high. He remembered that everyone on the stage started to sing after his dialogue, that moment really made him happy and he thought that it was so great to perform in front of the audience. But at that time he never thought that he would become an actor.

But when he was 20 years old, his father asked him “what he would be” because he is now already a grow up man. Asuka then said to his father that he wanna be an actor. At first his father was little bit worried with his dedicion but later saying “if you really into it and that something that you wanna do, i’ll permit you.”

Asuka then auditioned for role on dorama “Roosevelt Game” which he won after defeated 500 people. His role is baseball player just like his father. Thanks to this drama, Asuka gain a lot of attention.

 

2. He and His Big Family

His father is professional baseball player Kudo Kimiyasu.  He is the eldest son of two younger brother and two younger sister. His sister Kudo Haruka  is professional golf player. He is close with his mother and always gives her present on mother’s day. Last year he gave his mother a bouquet of flowers and pair of shoes.

His mother always bring him and his brother and sister to watch their father’s match. Whenever his father start to pitch the ball, his mother make sure that they should carefully watch their father. His mother thinks that when they see the game, they give his father support and strength as family.

3. He and His Family Rule

When he was child and his father was an active player, he and his siblings had strict rule on their house.

His father is so sensitive with sound and often come home on late night. His father used to sleep at the morning and they even put the gum tape on his window to make sure that sunlight didn’t enter the room.

His father can wake up easily even when he hear whispering sound. To make sure that his father didn’t wake up, Asuka and his brother sister rarely use toilet, because the flashing sound from toilet can wake him up. Asuka who was elementary student that time had to hold his ‘needs’ and often did it on the school. LOL.

They also used to wear their shoes after they go out from the door because the sound of their shoes might be wake his father up. They also carefully close the door to not create any noises.

4. He and His Childhood

Asuka is cheerful and healthy kid back then. His father told him to always play outside and could go home at least after two hours of playing. Asuka mentioned that he used to play a lot with his friends.

He also pretty popular among both girls and boys. He used to receive at least 45 chocolate on valentine day. He mentioned that he ate all of them and felt sick after it. LOL.

5. He and Tennis

Unlike his father, Asuka didn’t has any interest on baseball. His father also never suggested him to play baseball. His father said that he should choose any sport that he likes. Asuka plays tennis since he was junior high and continues playing on university. When he was in college, he participated on tennis match and managed to became top 16 on Kanto Region Tennis Tournament.

6. He and Baseball

Even he doesn’t have any interest on baseball, he actually has potential on baseball. On dorama “Roosevelt Game” when he plays as pitcher, he could throw the ball as good as his father does. His speed is 130 km which is so good for amateur like him.

Asuka confessed that he never plays catch-ball with his father, but when he was second years of high school, his father suddenly asked him to play with him. Asuka was so happy that time because that was the first time his father make him play baseball. Asuka who never plays baseball before threw his ball randomly until his father shouted “Where do you throw the ball? Throw it here to my gloves”. Asuka never thought that it turned out to be a baseball practice. LOL.

7. He and His Daily Life

He sleeps with his sweat pants and his t-shirt. On summer, he only sleeps with his pants.

He love listening to music, and his favorite band is Maroon 5. He often listens it when he takes bath and sing it along.

He likes eating meat, but his favorite food is his mother miso soup.

8. He and His Personality

He is friendly, kind, and cheerful person. Kubota Masataka mentioned that Asuka always greets other people in loud voice and high spirit, sometimes he is so noisy. Asuka also wanna has good relationship with his co-star and staff.  Kubota added that when he starred dorama “Flower for Algernon”with Asuka and Yamashita Tomohisa, they are just like siblings, Yamashita is the older brother, Kubotas on the middle, and Asuka is the youngest one. LOL.

9. He and His Diligent (Majime)

He always go to work early at least 30 minutes before its start. Once he went to work two hours early and the staff didn’t prepare his room yet, it was pretty much troublesome for the staff. LOL.

He mentioned that he always feels excited and can’t help he wanna go early to work. He spend his waiting time with reading script or memorizing some lines.

10. He and Karaoke Bar

According to Kaname Jun, Asuka doesn’t really drink sake (alcohol) and doesn’t really into singing, so it was so weird for him because Asuka often go out to Karaoke Bar, mostly by himself.

Asuka mentioned that he goes to karaoke bar to observe people. Observing other people always makes him excited. Whattt??

Asuka added that on karaoke bar, he meets many kind of people and he can talk anything with them from something usual like work untill their worries in life. When someone tell him their worries, Asuka is so happy to hear.

11. He and Kubota Masatakata

He is pretty close with Kubota Masataka and he already calls Kubota with his first name “Masa-san”. They often hang out together at least once a month. They often go to yakiniku restaurant together, playing golf, and go to karaoke. They both love EXILE, so they sing  EXILE song alot. When they’re so excited, they will into sofa and sing with their heart content.

12. He and His Co-Star

He and Fukushi Sota become close after being co-star on movie “To Each His Own”. Fukushi mentioned that he really like Asuka who always tries his best into work. He added that he would ask Asuka to participate on blind date (Goukon) due to his cheerful personality.

He also has good relationship with Haru who already three times become his co-star. Asuka said that he can easily talk with Haru and can talk about anything with her. But he confessed that there is  no romantically feeling toward her. Hmmm.

13. He and His Ideal Girlfriend

He likes a girl who considerate toward him and other people around her. His ideal girlfriend is someone who takes three steps behind him when they walk. LOL.

He added that a girl should has good manner and polite.

He mentioned that he doesn’t have any interest into his co-worker, and doesn’t intend to date actress or any girl from entertaiment world. Hmmm, Really????
